Her powerful 40 HP diesel, steerable propeller drive leg, autopilot, rudder angle indicator and cockpit windlass controls make motoring, manoevring and anchoring, even in the tightest of situations a real pleasure. Shadow Cat's luxurious interior combines sophisticated internal mouldings with the classic look of polished teak. She is carpeted throughout, has curtains on all the windows and fly screens with roller blinds fitted to all the hatches. Her "Crusader" layout accomodates 8 people in 4 separate double cabins as well as providing all the space, comfort and all-around visibility for which the Prout 37 is renowned. The heads and galley have stylish, easy to clean, moulded units and are both fully serviced with hot and cold water. The galley has eye line split level oven and grill, 3 burner hob, twin sinks, fridge/freezer and huge double icebox with fridge system. Shadow Cat's navigation area with its full sized chart table has chartplotter with GPS, instrument repeaters, VHF radio, music system and 12v-control panel all close at hand.
