38 "SWEET SENSATION" The sensational all new Prout 38 is the second "new generation" design so emphatically pioneered by the outstandingly successful Prout 46.
The revolutionary new "high volume" hulls with flatter underwater sections, low aspect keels and high clearance arched bridge-deck has provided a smoother, more comfortable ride and dramatic improvement to performance. Off the wind she is a rocket ship, upwind she has tremendous lift and displays real yacht-like qualities. Sweet Sensation, fitted with all the extras and luxuries to bring her up to Crusader specification, is most probably the finest example of this stunning new craft built to date. Anchoring is at the press of a button; all her sails are roller furling and controlled from the cockpit, she has full instrumentation, chartplotter with GPS, rudder angle indicator and hydraulic autopilot at the skipper's fingertips in the cockipt and navigation area.Motoring and manoeuvring are also effortless with incredibly smooth, quiet and powerful twin 30 HP engines. Sweet Sensation below deck offers the highest standard of modern styling and decor combined with an amazing open plan feeling. Excellent light and ventilation further complements the interior. The sumptuous main saloon provides generous relaxing and dining areas, a truly ergonomic navigation and electronic station - all with a panoramic view. The state of the art galley will please the most discerning of chefs. All the cabinets and work surfaces are easy-to-clean GRP mouldings. There is a 12v fridge, large ice box with freezer, hob, grill, oven, sink with H&C pressurised water and lots of stowage built-in.
